SETUPTo use any custom crosshair go into the file "crosshairs" in the "Custom_Desktop_Logo_V2.1" folder. To change settings right click and click settings. When the program opens it will be minimized in your task bar, near where the clock is. This is useful for knowing exactly where the center of your screen is rather than just having a largely spaced out + for your crosshair. Using this program you can use the image of any crosshair and display it over the game, allowing you to have any custom crosshair you'd like. There is a program called "Custom Desktop Logo" that allows any image file to be displayed on your monitor above any program. It's a completely standalone program that just overlays an image on your monitor. It does not mess with any game files or mess with the memory of the game. Keep in mind that using this will NOT get you banned. You will need to run your game in "Fullscreen Windowed" mode for this to work. However for those of you who would like to use a custom crosshair you can still do so, just without recursion or playclaw. Which sucked because I wanted to use the crosshair overlay that it provided. Although, it does not work in full-screen mode, which can be a bummer as switching to borderless or windowed fullscreen modes can cause FPS loss.I was setting up recursion, and read up how the overlay functions were broken with the DX11 update. The app works as advertised, automatically appearing on your screen after launch. The app offers a simple yet customizable crosshair overlay that you can use to improve your aim as you play. Overall, Crosshair V2 is a gamer's best friend. Don't worry, though as the FPS loss will not be too noticeable. However, doing so will cause the game's FPS to drop. With this, make sure that you adjust the display setting of your game accordingly to see the crosshair and the overlay on your screen.

Although, when you compare this to the paid Crosshair X, these configurations are minimal.Īs noted, this program only works on borderless or windowed full-screen mode and not on full-screen. Here, you can configure the crosshair by changing between three different sizes, six shapes, and seven neon colors. On the left side of the screen are the settings options. Once downloaded and launched, you can immediately see the crosshair on your screen. The app comes with a simple interface for easier usage. As mentioned, it is a crosshair overlay that works on almost any Windows 10 game. Luckily, there are many crosshair overlays that you can use for your game. However, not many offer customizable ones. To date, many first-person shooters come with it. Crosshairs are a vital part of any shooter game as having such will improve your aim to eliminate your opponents.
